Friday 12 July - Sunday 14 July 2019
A weekend away with friends. Broaden your fibre craft horizons.
Tickets on sale 10am Monday 11 March
If you knit or crochet, or dabble in craft, join us for a weekend of learning and making. While the event is aimed at knitters, there are no knitting classes. Each session is designed to complement your existing skills, either to help you celebrate what you already know or add a new talent to your tool belt. Featuring weaving, photography, mindfulness and more.
You will have scheduled non-class time to either get to know your fellow attendees better or practice your new skill.
As Saturday is also Capital Fibre Fest, we will organise transport to and from if you wish to venture out to see what’s on offer.
Friday evening we have a special guest speaker who will be announced as soon as details are all confirmed, Saturday evening we have three guest speakers: Margaret Stove QSM, Christine Brimer and one more to be confirmed.
Our special non-teaching guest for the weekend will be on hand if you do have high level technical knitting or spinning questions – the one and only Margaret Stove, QSM.
Ticket price includes:
Standard shared accommodation
All meals and snacks
All classes and materials
Accommodation upgrades will be available.
Tickets are $525 and include meals, standard accommodation and your classes. Payment plans will be available by request.
We are committed to running an extremely low waste event, and appreciate your assistance in helping us do so. Guidance will be provided as to how you can help!
